Especially about the sprained ankle that has a tendency to keep getting sprained. Injuries seem to work like that. A few years ago, I had the arch issue big time--turns out there's a little bone (navicular, I think) in there that is not attached very well in flexible people that can tear away a bit and cause mega pain.

Have a great weekend!Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09907600647994918958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7784862553522773321.post-32898726474833014972009-04-24T06:14:00.000-07:002009-04-24T06:14:00.000-07:00Congrats to you and Coachubby! Unfortunately, my race prep this season has been marred by copious injuries...strangely all to my left leg. Chronically sore knee that is no longer rebounding (being 40 bites), a sprained ankle (that I keep seeming to resprain right when it's getting better) and some weird thing in the arch of my foot that feels like something is tearing...always right around mile 4 oddly. Unlike you though, I'm not expecting to set any 70.3 PRs as a result!!

Way to go, TD!!Joehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06913295129790331984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7784862553522773321.post-75585794462094866912009-04-23T14:53:00.000-07:002009-04-23T14:53:00.000-07:00Ha! Alas I have to move north in September, so it's not a possibility this year :(Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09907600647994918958noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7784862553522773321.post-34308728325617927272009-04-23T14:51:00.000-07:002009-04-23T14:51:00.000-07:00OH MY GOODNESS!!! A little birdie told the race director of your heroic, bone cracking run and he said that he will send you one of the 7 small t-shirts he back -ordered after the race =)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
