The bike was windy
it was indeed
but going out was fun
with the wind behind my knees
So coming back was just a minor
bump in the road
so I could fly out on the course again
and feel invincible
There were people cheering
and helping us along
there were even people out there
singing Ironman songs
It was a most fabulous ride
the best by far
because there was no chance in hell
I'd be hit by a car.
